June 17, 2007 The summer is back!

The summer was "gone" for some days, but now we've got it back again! Here's a layout I made for a competition at Wedoscraps some weeks ago. It's my niece when she was two years old. Now she's 17 and ready to go to the USA to study. This weekend my daughter and I have enjoyed the sun and been bicycling.

Credits here.

Here's one of the photos I shot today. "Butter flowers" are replacing the dandelions - from yellow ... to yellow :)

June 3, 2007 The summer is here!

The last couple of days have been warm and I've got the summer feeling. So much that I had to make a summer layout yesterday. Toes in the green grass is summer to me ;) The photos was taken yesterday, they are blended into the background paper which is water painted by Gina Jane Johnson. The journaling says: "Pale winter toes meet the summer"

I have taken some photographs today. Here's a couple of them:

This one is taken last night:

May 27, 2007 Some days off

I bought a huge mega kit at wds today in addition to Brumm's Norwegian Roots doodle set. Here's one of the elements included in the kit (Norwegian rose painting):

I really look forward to scrap with both kits. Yesterday I sent in a layout to this weeks' contest at wds - it's always exciting to participate.

It is Whitsunday today - that means we have some days off - great - more time for scrapping! :)

May 22, 2007 Home from work today

My daughter did hurt her leg at the gymnastics yesterday, so we stay at home today. It isn't serious, but she have pain when she walk.

I made another layout yesterday, Sometimes I'm stucked and can't make any layouts with my own photos, so I go to Microscofts Clipart Archive where I always find some stunning photos. I'm pretty satisfied with this layout:

May 20, 2007 Quote of the Day

New "theme" - piiiinkkk! I love pink (and yes, I'm blushing ...). Credits for the heading, see bottom of the page.

I've put in "Quote of the Day" at the right bottom of my page. Perhaps there are something to learn from it?

I've made a couple "Constitution Day" (May 17th) layouts the past days. One of them is this one. The other one I made is sent in for a competition at wds, so I cannot show it here now.

Credits here.

Constitution Day is a day of colors in red, white and blue, parades, happy people (especially children), icecream, hot dogs, sun and corps music. We celebrate that the Norwegian Constitution was signed at Eidsvoll, May 17, 1814.

May 13, 2007 Some minor changes in layout

I've just "reconstructed" my page a little. A new theme and new colors will be added soon.

I would love to show you some photos I've taken this spring:

May 12, 2007 Gifts for me!

Soon it's the Constitution day in Norway (May 17). I've received a couple of nice gifts from Jenn in that occasion. Thank you so much!

I'm digiscrapping in between work, daily housework and careing for my daughter Mali. Today I made a card - I used hours in making it, but I love every hour! Yesterday I visited ScrapArtist, they celebrated their 2 years anniversary. In that occasion they gave away a huge kit "In Vogue", here is one of the nice elements in the kit (made by Robin England):

Last, but not least, I will thank you to those who downloaded my doodles (my previous post). I didn't think anyone would bother to download them, but YES you did! I will try to make some more freebies at a later stage.

May 5, 2007 National Scrapbooking Day!

Hurrah - today it is the National Scrapbooking Day!! Congrats to all scrappers out there! A lot's going on in the forums and the shops today.  I'm just participating in a few auctions at WDS, you can get several kits for just "nothing" (if you're lucky). There are sales and surprises and I have lot of sites to go through. It's so exciting!

I have a freebie for you at this special day - my first one ever. I've made some flower doodles by hand, here is a preview:

Happy Scrapbooking Day!

May 3, 2007 From now on; in English

I've decided to "become international", so from now on my blog will be written in English. "My own" English, please bear over with it. :) I've fixed the menus so all are now in English, I've added more links and a comment box (hope you will leave me a comment or two). I have  another digiscrap blogg, too, but I will close it very soon. I will stick to this one - my own domain.

Today I made an subscription on newsletters from Little Dreamers Design. I got a nice kit called Vintage Dreams made by Michelle Coleman as a "welcoming" gift. It's so cute!
